Mr. Ritter has more than 30 years of experience in developing and commercializing new technologies, and is responsible for all aspects of research and development at QD Vision, from conception through commercialization. Prior to joining QD Vision, Ritter has 17 years of experience with Corning Incorporated, where he held varity of positions in development, engineering and manufacturing functions; he was also the Vice Present of Development at E-Ink; Ritter holds BS and MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from MIT.

Hai Bo Zeng PhD

Professor Haibo Zeng obtained his Ph.D. in Material Physics from Institute of Solid State Physics in Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006.
Following visiting scholar at University of Karlsruhe (Germany) and postdoctoral work at National Institute for Materials Science (Japan), he joined the faculty at Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2011 and initiated the Institute of Optoelectronics & Nanomaterials in 2013.
His research is focused on the optoelectronics of quantum dots and two-dimensional semiconductors, including theoretical calculation, experimental synthesis, light-emitting diode and photodetector devices.

Previously jobs include VP of R&D in San-an Optoelectronics, Manager of Philip Lumileds, and Scientist of CREE.

Jay Liu PhD

Executive Vice President, ShineOn (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd.

Received his Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC);
Dr. Liu’s technology expertise includes semiconductor IC, laser, and LED device and packaging; specialized on high power density LED where he developed leading edge high brightness LED packages by solving thermal, optical problems and through material and process innovation; Dr. Liu worked for 15 years in the US before returning to China to co-found ShineOn. He was an engineering director at Luminus Devices, and a packaging director of Nortel Networks.
He also held member of technical staff positions at Bell Labs, Intel and GM’s Delphi.
Dr. Liu has more than 40 journal and international conference papers and holds over 30 patents in the fields of LED and optoelectronics. He won the “Thousand Talents program” award and is a member of expert panel for 863 Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Xiao Bing Luo PhD

Xiaobing Luo received Ph. D. degree in 2002 from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. From 2002 to 2005, he was with Samsung Electronics, Seoul, Korea, as a Senior Engineer. At the end of 2005, he became an Associate Professor in Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, and in 2007, he became a Full Professor after exceptional promotion. Since 2011, he has been Associate Dean of the School of Energy and Power Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan. He is also a Professor with the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Wuhan.He has published more than 160 papers. Among them 82 papers are peer-reviewed international journal papers. He obtained more than 20 granted patents in USA and China. He is IEEE senior member. He also coauthored one English book about LED packaging design through John Wiley Press. He is the associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology, the editor of Journal of Solid State Lighting and the associate editor of ASME Journal of Electronic Packaging.

Xiao Wei Sun PhD

Professor, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU)

Dr. Xiao Wei Sun is presently a full professor of electronic engineering of Nanyang Technological University; an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; in 2013, he worked in South University of Science and Technology to set up the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
He was awarded the Nanyang Award for Research and Innovation in 2009, the 1000 Talent Award by the Chinese Government in 2012, and the Jacques Beaulieu Excellence Research Chair of INRS (Institut national de la recherche scientifique), Quebec, Canada in 2013.
He is an Academician of the Asia-Pacific Academy of Materials. He is a Fellow of SPIE, a Fellow of Society for Information Display, and a Fellow of the Institute of Physics (UK).
Professor Sun has authored over 350 peer-reviewed journal publications with a H-index of 50, and delivered numerous invited talks.

Kai Wang PhD

Dr. Kai Wang obtained his Ph.D. degree from Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2011. His research interests include LED/QD-LED materials, packaging, and application technologies and he has 10 years’ experience in LED lighting and display both in industry and academic. He is PI of 4 and Co-PI of 8 LED projects. He has published more than 60 journal and international conference papers (cited by more than 1000 times and H-index is 19) and holds 9 patents in the fields of LED. He also is member of Technical Committee of the National Flat Panel Display Device Standardization.
