Introduction
Semiconductor lighting and display technologies have been listed into the State Council’s “The National Medium- and Long-Term Program for Science and Technology Development (2006 – 2020)”, and it has been stongely supported by both national and local governments. At the same time, the LED-backlit flat panel display technology has been developed rapidly in recent years.And its wide applications on LED-Televisions, laptops, mobile phones, Pads and other display devices, have become a new economic growth point. The next generation of LED lighting technology with characteristics such as high color rendering index (CRI), high luminous efficacy, wide color gamut and high level of light color stability, are well recognized by semiconductor lighting and display industry worldwide. However, there are still technological, economical and environmental issues to be tackled.Solutions to these problems are scattered here and there, it would be highly desired for some exchange of inside views among the leaders to discuss openly of what is coming next in the industry and be prepared for the next big wave.
Tianjin Zhonghuan Quantum Tech Ltd. is a newly established high-tech company providing solutions/products/applications in semiconductor lighting and displays. To promote dialogues in the area, Zhonghuan Quantum is pleased to host this International Workshopon Trends in lighting and displays. In the great support of the LED lighting and display industry and other relevant industry associations, with great honor, we have invited many experienced researchers/ engineers and enterprise elites, and renowned university professors from China, China Taiwan, US and Singapore.This conference will be focused on analyzing the next 5 years’ development trend, industrial layout, new techonolgies and products in LED lighting and display. Through high-end speeches and dialogs, round table interaction and communications, we will discuss the hot issues in the industrial development from markets, technology applications and other relevant aspects.
